Beautiful Kapamilya actress Arci Muñoz finally breaks her silence as she released a statement over the “nose lift” allegation being thrown at her recently.

Lately, the Kapamilya artist Arci Muñoz have trended when a fan posted photos together with her and netizens noticed the changes on her face especially on the parts of the lips and the nose.

Because of this, people of the online community could not help but keep gushing about it.

Netizens did not hide their disappointment for a lot have agreed that Arci looks beautiful already before, for her to undergo “another cosmetic surgery.”

Allegations rounding off and making waves on the online platform states as well that she had probably or possibly underwent an operation to enhance that part of her face only that netizens did not quite like the results.

And finally, the actress broke her silence.

According to the interview made by the Philippine Entertainment Portal (Pep) as it was shared by the Facebook page Viral Videos, Arci’s statement when asked if she had something operated on her face, she just said:

“Masaya ako basta happy ako. I’m just really happy. I think more than the physical appearance, it’s the inside. E, nagpapakapal naman talaga ako ng lips kasi. Nilalagpasan ko yung lipstick ko eh. Napaka-open naman natin. So? Ano ba? (referring to cosmetic surgery). It’s open naman di ba? Personally, I’m not against it. It’s my body. And whatever’s gonna make me feel more comfortable and more confident sa aking sarili, I’ll do it. If I remove my lagpas lipstick, I’d probably look the same. I’ll probably look like a Grade 6 student.”

Arci neither denied nor confirmed the allegations.

Drug Lord has powerful backer

Senator Antonio Trillanes on Thursday claimed that information he obtained from “insiders” at the Bureau of Customs (BOC) show that the drug lord behind the P6.4-billion shabu shipment from China has a “powerful backer” in government.

In an interview, Trillanes said he intends to grill Customs Commissioner Nicanor Faeldon on the information he has when the Senate blue ribbon committee resumes its hearing on the shipment.

“Di ba itong si [President Rodrigo] Duterte, galit na galit sa droga, di ba kahit sino ang mag-criticize sa kanya, minumura niya pero ito P6 billion na pumasok na shabu. Eh sabi nga ni Cong. Alejano, parang speechless siya,” Trillanes said, referring to Magdalo party-list Rep. Gary Alejano’s earlier remark on the matter.

“Itong drug lord, maglalakas loob ba ito na magpasok ng merchandise ng shabu one year into the drug war of a President who kills drug lords supposed to be. Napakalakas naman ng loob nito. Bakit? Kasi malakas yung backer niya. Malakas yung nag-facilitate, sigurado siyang hindi gagalawin,” Trillanes said.

Asked whether Duterte himself is involved in the shipment, Trillanes said: “Not necessarily Duterte himself but probably somebody close to him.”

Trillanes said Duterte cannot let go of Faeldon despite the recent controversy as the Customs official might supposedly squeal on him and his family.

“Alam ni Duterte na mayroong nalalaman itong si Faeldon na pagka-nalaman ng publiko eh madi-dismaya at malalaman nila, mabubuko na talaga kung ano yung tunay na pagkatao nitong pamilya ni Duterte,” he said.

Trillanes’ statement comes a day after Duterte said he would step down if any of his children are found to be involved in corruption.

One of the President’s sons, Davao Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte, was mentioned by broker Mark Taguba in one of the recent House hearings on the shabu shipment.

Vice Mayor Duterte had referred to Taguba’s remark as a “lie.”

Faeldon skipped the separate Senate and House of Representatives’ investigations on the shabu shipment after he was confined in a hospital due to chest pains.

Trillanes said Faeldon is only “malingering.”

The shipment in question was seized by the Bureau of Customs (BOC) in Valenzuela warehouses days after it was able to pass through the agency’s green lane.

Trillanes said the BOC’s operation was deliberate to earn plus points from the public.

“Nakalusot na ito, labas na ito. Doon na lang nila ito pinuntahan sa warehouse tapos nag-picture taking na lang. Ito, nag-backfire yung papogi nila,” he said. — RSJ, GMA News

Doan was working in Raul Quintanilla Senior Middle School in West Coast Cliff.

The whole ordeal was discovered by the student's mother.

She saw some suspicious text messages, in which her son was asking for money.

She suspects that the money will be used for drugs.


The mother admitted that student is currently in juvenile detention due to robbery and burglary.

A pregnant woman from Minnesota killed her boyfriend on Monday during their shooting for a Youtube video stunt that went wrong. Monalisa Perez, a nineteen-year-old pregnant teen shot at a book that her boyfriend, Pedro Ruiz, twenty-two years old, was holding over his chest. According to a Norman County Sheriff’s Department arrest report, the couple did the stunt in attempt to make a viral video.

According to the arrest report, the seven-month pregnant Perez called 911 on Monday evening, revealing she had accidentally shot her boyfriend in the chest while they were making a video. Perez has been charged with second degree manslaughter for the incident.

“They were in love. They loved each other. It was just a prank gone wrong,” Claudia Ruiz, Pedro’s aunt, told CNN affiliate KVLY.

“It shouldn’t have happened like this. It shouldn’t have happened at all,” she added.

Perez and Pedro had one child and they were expecting for the other one to come out as their second child.

According to the police, Perez said that her boyfriend wanted to make a YouTube video of her shooting a book in an effort to raise the number of their viewers. The girlfriend was convinced by Pedro to shoot the book held up close to his chest.

“I don’t know why they thought the book was supposed to stop the bullet,” Claudia said.

Perez fired the shot from about one foot away from Pedro with a .50-caliber Desert Eagle handgun. Obviously, the book did not stop the bullet—contrary to what Pedro had told Perez that he tried to shoot the book before and did not get all the way through.

Perez faces up to ten years in jail and a fine of up to $20,000 if she is guilty of the manslaughter charge against her. Luckily on her side, she has been released on bail. But conditions such as she cannot possess firearms; needs to let her attorney know where she is; and has to wear a GPS monitor were issued. She will be back in court on July 5.

Bagaman na-inquest na, hindi pa rin inihaharap ng pulisya sa media si Lagarejos, na parish priest ng Saint John the Baptist Church sa Taytay, Rizal.

Nabisto ang ginagawa umano ng pari nang mahuli noong isang linggo ang dalagitang biktima na itinago sa pangalang "CPA" dahil sa paglabag sa curfew ng Marikina.

Nang isailalim sa counseling, napag-alamang ibinubugaw umano niya ng mga kaibigan.

"Sa disclose ng bata hindi po ito ang first time niya na nakasama ang perpetrator," ayon kay Shelly Mae Mondano,  Marikina social welfare officer.

Dahil dito, nagkasa ng entrapment operation ang Marikina police nang nagkasundong magkikita ang pari at ang bugaw umano ni "CPA" noong Biyernes sa isang mall sa Marikina.

Ayon kay Senior Superintendent  Roger Quesada, hepe ng Marikina Police, hindi nila alam na pari si Lagarejos nang madakip.

"Hinold na ng mga operatiba ang sasakyan ng suspek hanggang naimbitahan natin sa presinto, with that hindi naman natin alam na pari siya hanggang sa kalaunan nga po," paliwanag ni Quesada.

May nakuha rin umanong baril mula sa SUV ni Lagarejos pero may lisensya umano ito at may permit to carry.

Nasa pangangalaga na ng DSWD si "CPA" at ang menor de edad na bugaw.

Habang nagsasagawa ng sariling imbestigasyon ang Simbahang Katolika, inalis na si Lagarejos bilang parish priest at bilang presidente ng Cainta Catholic College. -- FRJ, GMA News
